Broadform Insurance Coverage in Washington and Oregon
Insuring your license
We all know that lapses in auto insurance coverage can wreak havoc on your premium cost when you do need it, but if you don’t have a vehicle to insure how can you have auto insurance? The answer is simple: Broad Form Insurance. This type of insurance covers the insured’s driver’s license instead of a vehicle. If you do not have a vehicle or switch between several vehicles, Broad Form Insurance might be an option to discuss with your Cross Insurance agent.
Broad Form Insurance satisfies state bodily injury liability and property damage requirements, and you can add additional options like Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist or Medical Payments to your Broad Form Insurance policy. There is a caveat, Broad Form Insurance does not cover damage to your vehicle. If your vehicle (or the vehicle you have permission to drive) would be expensive to repair, Broad Form Insurance may not be for you.
Broad Form Insurance does not cover the following:
- Damage to your vehicle
- Motorcycles or RVs
- Business use of a vehicle
